Puretho Response to COVID-19

To our Patients/Community:

PURETHO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and environment for our employees and customers in light of the novel coronavirus. As such we are closely monitoring the ongoing updates according to the guidelines and recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and guidance of our state and local officials. As the virus continues to spread, and the CDC recommendations grow more stringent, we are increasing our infectious control precautions to ensure our employees and patients remain safe and healthy at Puretho Medical Equipment.

It is critical to us that we continue to provide our patients with exceptional service. We will continue to be available and committed to providing excellent service and products to our community. We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our employees and customers. We are advising our employees to follow the public health authorities’ guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, we’ve reinforced existing infectious control policy with respect to hand hygiene and increased disinfection for work areas and vehicles before and after each workday. We are also encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult an applicable medical professional. I would like to assure you that we are working closely with all patients by issuing follow-up calls confirming appointments, ensuring good health and pathogen-free space before your arrival at our office or our arrival at your home. We are also working closely with our vendors monitoring inventory, product availability and keeping informed of their closures.

We are sensitive to your needs and the consequences of this pandemic and impact on our community. At Puretho Medical Equipment, our duty and responsibility is to look out for the health, safety and welfare for all customers and employees, particularly those who are most at risk. We will continue making our best effort.

Our Newest Team Member!

Hi everyone,

Puretho Medical has recently added another certified orthotic assistant and prosthetic technician to its ranks. This should mean shorter wait times for appointments, and should slightly expand the scope of Puretho Medical services. His name is Thor, and his information has been added to our website. You just might see him at your next appointment, so keep an eye out.

We hope everyone is having a happy and healthy summer!

Joint Commission Update

Hi all,

We can now confirm that the Joint Commission has again verified our compliance with their gold standard. For our patients, this should hardly be a surprise, as many of you have written in with glowing feedback regarding our services. Going forward, we hope to maintain our level of service, and expand outward into new regions and offices. Please contact us with ANY feedback you might have for us, we’re happy to listen!

Thank you,

Puretho Medical Staff

Happy New Year! (Site Changes)

Hi Everyone!

In light of the new year, we’ve updated our site to be up-to-date on Puretho staff and products. The biggest news is that we’ve acquired another certified Orthotist George, who has already begun fulfilling orders! He has been added to the online survey options, so patients may now give George feedback. Also, we’ve added Marisol to that survey as well; she’s done mastectomy fitting for us over a number of years, and we thought you should have the opportunity to let her know how she did. Finally, we updated all terminology on the site to be easier to understand, something that hopefully makes your time navigating our site more pleasant.

Welcome Our New Fitter Rick To The Team!

Recently, we've acquired a new fitter for house calls! Expect him to be quickly integrated into the Puretho Medical team, through which he will uphold our core principles toward customers: dedication, loyalty, and respect.

Please fill out patient satisfaction surveys for Rick! We want to see how he's doing, and it should only take a minute. Surveys can be submitted by clicking on the "FEEDBACK" tab on the website, located on the upper right-hand corner.

Commitment to Staff Excellence

How'd you spend your Friday the 13th? Walking under ladders? Breaking mirrors?

Puretho Medical Equipment Staff avoided such dastardly fates by spending the day in an inservice. We've updated everyone on the latest and greatest procedures to use for all facets in the workplace. We showed off a new mission statement which everyone quickly got behind, as it reflects our serious commitment to pursuing the highest-level patient care.

So as Puretho staff escaped a number of bad experiences on this Friday the 13th, we hope that we can prevent said bad experiences for patients during their usual interactions with our company.

Puretho Website Live!

We've had a number of costumers ask about our online presence, and so we decided it was finally time to make a website. We currently have information about products, staff, accepted insurances, areas of service, and more! We also integrated our patient satisfaction survey directly onto the site. These should prove to be a quicker alternative to the mailing process for surveys we had before.

Anyway, on behalf of Puretho Medical Equipment, we hope everyone enjoys the site, and ask that you report glitches or errors on the website directly to us. Our contact info can be found under the "about" tab.

Thank you,

The Puretho Team
